Checklist
✓ Build your site on Webflow (or Wordpress)
- When you use Webflow or Wordpress, the marketing team can duplicate pages and modules within pages with no engineering required
- You can use the CMS functionality to create template landing pages and add content for each page really quickly
- Your blog and website can live in perfect harmony
- SEO checks are built in
✓ Get the site set up for tracking and analytics
- Add all the Google things: Add Google Tag Manager, set up Google analytics, connect Google Search Console
- Add marketing automation site tracking
- Add any other analytics tracking needed
✓ Build forms, connect to CRM
- Whether you build custom forms, use forms from Webflow, or use forms from your marketing automation tool, make sure form data feeds directly into your CRM and preferably passes the source of the lead through too
- You can also consider adding Clearbit or something that augments forms with more information, without needing a million fields.
- If you have a schedule a demo option, make sure times can be selected immediately
- If you have a lot form fields, consider a multi-step form, where you capture email address, and then ask for everything else in the next step
✓ Build landing page templates
- Note: If you use Webflow or Wordpress there is no need to use another tool to create landing pages (sorry Unbounce).
- Work with a design team once to create a master landing page template with all the sections you might ever need (i.e. list of logos, content cards, numbered lists, 2 column image and text, etc.)
